FMN Prize for Innovation 2024 For Nigerians(Up to N10million)

The FMN Prize for Innovation project was created to support fresh perspectives and inventions in the food and agro-allied industries in Nigeria and around the continent, and to investigate how these might influence and facilitate the development of a sustainable food system in Nigeria.The 3rd season of the FMN – PFI will focus on discovering innovators within the food and agro-allied sector that are actively and innovatively driving the attainment of food self-sufficiency in Nigeria.

The Group through the PFI management team will assess, review, and test the processes utilized by these players, and provide winning ideas/content with resources and support needed to boost their business sustainability progressively.

ELIGIBILITY

• The Prize is open to residents of Nigeria aged 18 years or over except employees of the organizer and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
• Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

Category 1: Registered Businesses (Micro, Small & Medium Scale Enterprise Owners):

• Micro, Small, and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs) that are registered in Nigeria and operate in the agro-processing and food production space.
• Your big idea and innovative solution must address the use of precision agriculture in boosting food production in Nigeria’s food and agro-allied sector.
• Your idea should have a solid proof-of-concept, a social or commercial purpose, and a clear roadmap to scale.

Category 2: Nigerian Students (Undergraduates & Post Graduates):

• Nigerian Students (Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels)
• Your big idea and innovative solution must address the use of precision agriculture in boosting food production in Nigeria’s food and agro-allied sector.
• Your idea has a solid proof-of-concept and a social or commercial purpose.
