17 outstanding young leaders from a wide range of sectors are recognized biennially for their agency, courage, and ingenuity in finding sustainable solutions to the world’s biggest challenges.
In their two-year term, these Young Leaders will engage young people for the 2030 Agenda, not only through their existing initiatives, platforms, and networks but also through advocacy opportunities with the United Nations and its partners.
A Young Leader is a title awarded by the United Nations to young people who excel in their contributions to helping their communities achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
ELIGIBILITY
- Open to young people from across the world.
- Applicants should be aged 15- 29 years old.
