The 2022 Youth Leadership Debates is about giving confidence to your voice, leveraging your voice as an effective tool to bring about a transformed Nigeria. The goal of the Youth Leadership Debate Competition is to provide capacity building to select young people across tertiary institutions and support them to critically evaluate information, to advocate from the point of knowledge, and collectively shape their vision for Nigeria, hence equipping them to be active citizens.
WORTH
- First Prize: N1,500,000 and a laptop for each member of the team + other benefits.
- Second Prize: N1,000,000 and a tablet for each member of the team + other benefits.
- Third prize: N600,000 and a phone for each member of the team + other benefits.
ELIGIBILITY
- Only entries from teams will be considered; each team must have 3 to 4 students who are currently full or part-time undergraduates students from the same university.
- The debate is only meant for undergraduates, but a graduate who graduated nothing less than 2020 is allowed to be a research assistant.
