Genius Bee is a national innovation programme where young talents from various secondary schools in Nigeria interact and get together to learn capacity building.Our goal is to “develop a network of young innovators and change-makers that would impact the world, through their transformative actions and innovative solutions”. We intend to create a global student platform fully dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), where youngsters can be trained, connect and access a unique ecosystem of experts, mentors, investors, government and non-government organizations.
Genius Bee Innovation Programme provides the next generation hands-on training on SDGs, Circular Economy, Green Economy, Waste Recycling and Artificial Intelligence. The Genius Bee invites secondary school students to show off their knowledge of general academics.This programme features a bootcamp training and multi-educational contests which includes essay writing, spellings, speech presentation, arithmetic, waste innovation and more. As a central part of the experience, the young talents will be immersed in a daylong boot camp where they will receive training and support from facilitators and mentors to frame problems and develop early-stage prototype solutions within their interested SDG.
The Tournament will be held after the Bootcamp. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd Positions in the six states will partake in the final competition and the top three (3) schools will be given the grand prize of 200,000 Naira, 150,000 Naira and 100,000 Naira respectively.

ELIGIBILITY
- Open to Public and Private Secondary Schools in Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun, Osun and Lagos states
- Entry and registration for the competition is free.
- The competition shall be held at the state and regional levels, where winners in every state will compete together for the grand prize.
- The official language for the competition is the English Language at the State and Regional Levels.
