Since its inauguration in 1993, the Teenage Festival of Life (TFL) has served as a platform to help bridge the communication gap between young people and adults. It has served as an enabling forum where young people and relevant stakeholders meet to learn from young people through the means of creative arts.
The 27th edition of the TFL will provide an opportunity for young people to express their creativity through presentations to diverse audiences whilst raising conversation on important issues that affect young people’s engagement and social inclusion.

The Teenage Festival of Life 2020 calls for entries in Short Drama/Skit that will raise the conversation about challenges around young people’s engagement and inclusion whilst sharing innovative solutions on how young people can be engaged for a sustainable country. 
The objective of the event is to:
● Conscientise the public on the need for meaningful youth engagement and social inclusion
● Explore the new genre of creativity from young people through sharing and learning from experiences.

Phases of Competition
The competition is to run from November 3 rd – December 12, 2020. It will run in 2 phases:

Phase 1:

  • Participants are expected to upload one Entry on either Facebook or Instagram, tag @Actionhealthinc on Facebook or Instagram, and use the designated hashtag#AHITFL2020 and #YouthEngaged2020.
  • The top 5 entries on each platform will be shortlisted and moved to the second phase.

Phase 2:
● Top 5 entries from Facebook and Instagram will be uploaded across Action Health Incorporated
Facebook and Instagram account.
● Participants are expected to garner another round of public votes on uploaded content on
Action Health Incorporated pages to win the competition.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Entries will be judges according to the following criteria:

Innovation: overall concept
i. Originality and creativity
ii. Understanding of the theme

Research and inspiration
iii. Knowledge and understanding of challenges around young people’s engagement and social
exclusion and inclusion

Presentation
iv. Overall clarity of presentation
v. Overall clarity of concept and interpretation in digital presentation
