ONE is a campaign and advocacy organization backed by almost seven million people from around the world who are committed to the fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa. This research/consultancy analysis is being carried out on the Nigeria health and Nigeria agriculture campaign to influence the budget for 2017.
In the area of Agriculture, the analysis seeks to engage a consultant/research institution that will provide detailed review of the budget lines to the Agriculture sector in the 2016 budget and benchmark same against commitments of the Federal Government of Nigeria to its citizens, statutory and multilateral frameworks. In addition, to also analyse agriculture budgets within and outside of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and its agencies. The analysis is meant to ensure that our lobbying and advocacy for increased investment in agriculture by the federal government of Nigeria in the 2017 budgets and beyond are informed by past budget policies prioritisation and expenditures.
