The GoalKeepers Youth action Accelerator is a 12 month pilot project that will engage and support up to 30 youth advocates using data to improve local development related poverty, hunger , health and well-being, education, gender equality , water and sanitation (Global Goals 1-6). These youth advocates will have access to a suite of funding and technical capacity development support, valued up to $30,000. Participants will also have access to lovcal and international networking opportunities to garner visibility and mobilise funds for their initiatives.
WORTH
- Successful applicants (who became Accelerator Participants ) will have access to a suite of technical support, networks and mentors as well as funding, goods and services valued at up to $30,000.
- Accelerator participants will have the opportunity to engage in international networking opportunities to build global solidarity and further create visibility and mobilise funds around their initiative.
ELIGIBILITY
We’re looking for young advocates from all walks of life with proven determination and experience. You’re an ideal candidate if you:
- Are an experienced social activist, researcher, campaigner, technologist, scientist or change agent.
- Are committed and ready to advance and accelerate the progress of a successful idea now and in the longer-term.
- Are passionate about solving local development issues, no matter what it takes
You (the applicant) should fulfill the following criteria:
- You are a young person (age 18-35 as of 1 January 2019) or represent a youth-led organisation.
- You or your organisation are affiliated with one of the following partners:
