The African Union Commission will host the Virtual AU Youth Summit on Silencing the Guns organized by the Peace and Security Department, followed by continent-wide national youth consultations.
The Virtual AU Youth Summit will respond to the expectations of African youth and serve as a Pre-African Union Summit consultations to build a platform for young people to address the challenges confronting their meaningful engagement in peacebuilding.

- Anyone can join the Virtual summit from anywhere with an internet connection.
- Pre-register for the virtual summit via this link below, you will receive an email giving you access to the sessions 12 hours before the event, which will cover different topics related to the AU theme of the year ranging from economic growth, public service delivery, poverty reduction, ending gender based violence, fighting corruption and confidence-building etc.
