I am a zambian lady aged 23 and i am a biomedical scientist. I am focussed, hardworking and goal driven. I am mostly concerned about youth unemployment in Africa and especially in Zambia. it is for this reason that i advocate for youth entrepreneurship, to encourage young people to be enterprising and use their imaginative gifts to bring income for themselves and their families. i do this with the help of an organization called Alliance for youth entrepreneurs. we try to assist young people with the resources they need to get their business started n succeeding.one of the obsatcles faced has been poor youth policies and we as an organization are meeting up with political leaders to help come up with good interventions. i am in the process of starting up a business too which involves turning of old vegetable oil to biofuels, i am concerned about the environmental effects of dumping vegetable oil. lastly, my future plans are to open a literacy center to help disadvantaged children to learn to read because i believe that a culture that reads is a rich culture. with my determination and strong will i will ensure that i contibute the best i can to help better my country and continent.
