SOAS University of London is accepting applications from post-graduate students for VP Kanitkar Memorial Scholarship. The major purpose of the scholarship program is to support full-time MA Anthropology or MA Religions of Asia and Africa students with their tuition fee.
The scholarship is of £16,000 covering tuition fees and maintenance.
Eligibility Criteria –
- UK/EU and overseas students are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have an offer of admission to pursue the full-time MA Social Anthropology or MA Religions of Asia & Africa at SOAS by the scholarship application deadline.
- Applicants must be the full time MA Religions of Asia & Africa with a dissertation in Hinduism or full-time MA Social Anthropology with a dissertation in Hindu Culture in South Asia. Applicants are required to demonstrate the evidence of it in their statement.
- Applicants must normally possess or expect to be awarded a First Class Honors Degree or equivalent.
- Applicants must commit to meet the English language condition of their offer of admission to study at SOAS as soon as possible but no later than 1 June 2014.
Complete application includes transcripts, an explanation of the grading system for any degrees obtained outside of the UK, two references, CV and a personal statement.
