The University of Oxford and the Rhodes Trust are inviting students from around the world to apply for fully funded Oxford University Rhodes Scholarship for 2015-2016 academic session. The Rhode Scholarships are open to students from some African countries.
The Rhodes Scholarships are postgraduate awards supporting outstanding all-round students at the University of Oxford, and providing transformative opportunities for exceptional individuals from the above named countries.
ELIGIBILITY
- Each applicant must fulfill the residenceship requirements of the Rhode constituency for which they are applying.
- Applicants must be between the age of 18 and 28 by 1st October.
- Must have achieved academic standing sufficiently advanced to assure completion of a bachelor’s degree by the October following election.
DEADLINE: Starts from August 15, 2014 depending on the country.

It’s My Glad To See This Welcome Development For The African Students And Also I Suggest That You Suppose To Give More Priority To The Less Priviledge Whose Are Yet To Go For Higher Institution Which Was Due To The Financial Problems Most Especially Peoples Like Me Cos Since I Finished My Secondary School Certificate In 2005 I Unfortunately Wasn’t Proceeded My Study In To Higher Institution Due To The Financial Obstacles Cos My Father Was A Pauper. So, It’s My Pleasure If Considered And Grant Me Scholarship With Fully Sponsoreship As Undergraduate Student And Any Course Been Given To Me I Like It. I Do Hope You Will Keep Doing This Most Especially For The Desperate Peoples In The African Countinant.
