The Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg is dedicated to performing foundational research and promoting the transfer of knowledge in the fields of comparative and international private law and business law.
The Max Planck Society is offering a limited numbers of research scholarships for foreign students to undertake research at the Institute within the scope of the Institute’s areas of research.
The maximum duration of a scholarship is 4 months. Priority is given to candidates whose work may advance the research interests of the Institute.
WORTH
As of 2017, the scholarship funding is paid out according to academic qualification
- For doctoral students € 1365.00 / month
- Advanced researchers between € 2100.00 / month and € 3000.00 / month
ELIGIBILITY
Scholarships are available for:
- Foreign doctoral students
- Foreign post-doctoral candidates and other early-stage researchers
- Foreign professors or other senior researchers with equivalent academic achievements who plan to undertake research at the Institute within the scope of the Institute’s areas of research.
