KAIST is calling for application for Master’s and Doctoral scholarships for international applicants. KAIST was established in 1971 to model a research focused university and to foster elite human resources in science and technology needed by the nation. Currently, it has successfully become a well-respected member of the worldwide science community, and is determined to become a university in which the world lays its eye upon, by discovering the best leaders, offering the best education, and becoming the envy of the academic world, not only within Korea but all over the world through the university’s first invention.
WORTH
- Generally exempt from paying tuition and fees.
- A monthly allowance of 300,000 KRW
- The National Health Insurance fee are supported by the recipient’s advisor/department.
- Wages are paid for research (RA), teaching (TA) or other work (Part-time assistant, etc.) performed during enrollment
ELIGIBILTY
- He or she holds or will hold a bachelor’s degree by February 29, 2016 (for master’s applicants) or,
- He or she holds or will hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree by February 29, 2016 (for doctoral applicants).
- He or she is NOT a citizen of Korea. (Korean citizens who hold dual citizenship are not eligible to apply as international students.)
