The College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities is offering three International Excellence Awards for September 2017 entry to its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes.
Awards are available to outstanding international applicants looking to pursue doctoral research in the College’s Schools/Departments.
WORTH
- £15,000 payable as a fee discount over a 3 year period (£5,000 fee discount each year for 3 years).
ELIGIBILITY
The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
- First class or upper second class undergraduate degree or an equivalent overseas qualification in a relevant subject
- It is expected that applicants will also hold a Masters degree in a relevant subject
- StandardEnglish language requirements
- Available to suitable international (i.e., outside the EU) applicants only
- Available to new applicants only – i.e., existing PhD students are not eligible for this studentship
- Available for full-time registration only
- Applicants must be able to start in September 2017
- Show evidence of achieving this by September 2017
