The Tom Lantos Institute and the National University of Public Service in co-operation with the Middlesex University, London are organising a Global Minority Rights Summer School with a special focus on civil society, political participation and minority rights.

 The Tom Lantos Institute and the National University of Public Service in co-operation with the Middlesex University, London encourage MA and PhD students to apply who wish to acquire competitive personal competence beneficial for their future careers in academia or in practice-oriented professions. They also encourage teachers in higher education, who deal primarily with ethnic or national, linguistic and religious minority-related issues and anyone who is interested in recent developments, current theories and advanced training in the field of minority protection.

 The Summer School of Global Minority Rights will take place 14-20 July, 2014, in Budapest, Hungary at NUPS Faculty of Public Administration.

 Seventeen scholarships are available , five of which will be specifically for applicants outside of Europe to cover the participation fee and travel cost to Budapest.
