Faculty of Engineering and Science at the University of Greenwich is offering a number of PhD scholarships under the Vice Chancellor Scholarship scheme. The scholarships will be based in Engineering departments: The Department of Engineering Science, or the Department of Applied Engineering and Management
The University of Greenwich is a British, United Kingdom-based university. It has three campuses in London and Kent, England. These are located at Greenwich, in the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College, and in Avery Hill and Medway.
WORTH
- A tax-free bursary of £14,533 per year for 3 years is available to UK students, plus ‘Home’ University tuition fees of £4,195 will be paid and some travel expenses to attend appropriate international conferences and seminars will be available.
- Non-UK candidates are eligible to apply, but will be requested to pay for the difference between the ‘Home’ and ‘Overseas’ fees, currently £8,305.
ELIGIBILITY
- University is looking for candidates to apply with a background in any area of engineering, design or technology-related disciplines.
- Candidates should have, or expect to achieve, a strong undergraduate degree (2:1 or above). Candidates with relevant Masters degrees or those with practical experience in research or industry are also encouraged to apply.
