The Coca-Cola Company & the US Department of State are once again partnering to sponsor 100 university students from 6
countries across the Middle East and North Africa to attend a month-long business program at Indiana University’s prestigious Kelley School of Business, one of the top ranked business programs in the United States.
This multi-faceted, immersion program is designed to give a group of students the opportunity to learn about business education through an accelerated curriculum. The program, which begins in June 2014, is fully funded including travel to and within the United States, accommodations, meals, and university and visa fees.In addition to the residential course at Indiana University, the Coca-Cola MENA scholars will also be hosted at the US Department of State in Washington D.C. and at the global headquarters of The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, GA.
Please note that the majority of the program in the United States will take place during the holy month of Ramadan and that the travel dates cannot be amended. Qualification as a Coca-Cola MENA Scholar will be dependent upon providing a signed consent form (from a parent or guardian if the student is under the age of 21) confirming that he or she understands that the program will take place during Ramadan. The organizers at Indiana University, the State Department and at Coca-Cola in Atlanta will make suitable accommodations for students who are fasting or otherwise observing the holy month.
