Scholarships may be available on a very competitive basis. UNITAR does not possess its own funds to support students but makes every effort to raise funds from donors and sponsors. All scholarships available are listed below and if you want to be considered for a scholarship, you must tick the relevant box during the pre-registration process on our website. For the Fall Semester 2014, the scholarships listed below are available. Depending on the number of applications and donor support, additional scholarships may be offered.

WORTH
- 50% discount on the full tuition fees, the equivalence of USD5,700
ELIGIBILITY
- Proven ability to implement activities related to peace and conflict management in a conflict or post-conflict context;
- Relevance of degree for career advancement and professional performance;
- Citizenship of a developing country;
- Low financial resources;
- No previous studies at the graduate level;
- Years of relevant professional experience;
- Academic excellence at the high school and undergraduate levels.
- In case of equal qualifications, female applicants and applicants from LDCs will be considered preferably.
