Funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), in close partnership with the Government of Nigeria, the project ‘STRIVE Juvenile: Preventing and Responding to Violence Against Children by Terrorist and Violent Extremist Groups’ is launching its youth-led awareness raising campaign in Nigeria.
The campaign aims to build the resilience of children and their communities in targeted local government areas of Borno state as a key component of support for reintegration and reconciliation efforts. It will contribute to the:

- acceptance and reduced stigmatisation of reintegrated children.
The campaign will benefit from the support of key stakeholders, including children, youth, traditional leaders, religious leaders, persons with disabilities, Almajiri (Traditional Qur’anic students), women’s groups, youth groups and local government within Maiduguri Metropolitan Council (MMC) and Jere Local Government Areas, state and federal authorities.
