The Youth Enterprise Support (YES) wishes to inform the general public that it will open the call for applications on 22nd January 2016 and close on the 19th February 2016.
The public is being reminded that the forms can be accessed from the YES website and well as selected Post Offices across the country.Forms can also be picked up from the YES secretariat.Kindly note that YES application forms are not for sale.
Qualified Ghanaian youth are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to turn their creative ideas into businesses.
Eligibility
- You must be a Ghanaian citizen (show proof) and between the ages of 18 and 35 years old;
- You must have completed at least Junior High School (JHS);
- The proposed business must be situated within the national borders of Ghana and must employ Ghanaians;
- The proposed business must not involve gambling or the production or distribution of any alcoholic beverage, tobacco or weapon. It must not involve any activity that is illegal under the laws of Ghana;
- You must be prepared and available to explain and defend your business plan/idea in person and provide consent for the possible filming of the process;
- YES reserves the right to carry out further background checks on you and holds the right to disqualify you should the need arise.
- You must be ready to operate the business on a full time basis
