The YouthHubAfrica Volunteer Programme is an opportunity for young people to develop competencies and hone their skills in several 21st-century skills needed for personal as well as professional growth.
Youth Foundation for Development, Education & Leadership (YouthHubAfrica) has built a networked community and platforms for young people in Africa involved in social change to interact, learn and collaborate in new, creative and easy ways. YouthHubAfrica envisions Young people as catalysts of Africa’s sustainable development. Our mission is to empower young people with knowledge and skills to harness their potentials and take centre stage for Africa’s development.
In line with the organization’s vision and mission, our volunteers are engaged regularly to participate in the series of programmes and projects as a means to collaborate, learn and contribute to the community impacts. Above all, our goal is to groom our young volunteers by developing their skills and providing them with platforms to showcase their talents while providing opportunities for networking and collaboration.
Our work focuses on:
- Leading advocacy, awareness, and communications around the Sustainable Development Goals amongst young people in Africa
- Providing platforms for learning
- Providing linkages for youth leaders in Africa
- Connecting youths in Africa to resources and opportunities
- Profiling young people in Africa involved in social change on the African Continent
- Championing Girls education in Africa
- Providing ICT skills for young people across Africa
- Policy advisory for governments on key youth priority areas
- Organizational support for youth-focused organizations in Africa
WORTH
- YouthHubAfrica volunteers will have the opportunity to work and be part of the YouthHubAfrica team.
- Volunteers will be able to make meaningful contributions to our programs and activities which include Girl Child Education, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Governance, and Accountability.
- Volunteers will also develop technical skills while adding critical knowledge needed for personal and career development.
