USADF provides grants of up to $250,000 directly to underserved African enterprises and social entrepreneurs that are creating and sustaining jobs, improving income levels and achieving greater food security, energy access and employment opportunities for their communities. USADF-supported projects create pathways to prosperity for underserved communities in Africa.
WORTH
Up to US$25K in funding is available for social ventures that are:
- 100% African-owned
- Sustainable
- Impact-driven
- Revenue-generating.
ELIGIBILITY
- 2021 Mandela Washington Fellow
- All tracks (public management, civic engagement, and business)
- All sectors
- Ventures must be African-owned and managed, based in, and operating in sub-Saharan Africa

My name is Buhari dange, i’m from Sokoto state, Nigeria. I want to apply for this grand to create a job opportunities among our women and youth into dried food processing, reduce the lost of thousands tons of Agricultural product in our region, Nigeria and Africa at large. My aims and objectives is to training peoples create a ways of sourcing money to sponsor their childrens education, reduce highest number of unemployment, school drop out children’s, family break up, all this crisis is going to be a history when job and source of income is available within peoples of our locality, all this security and other challenges face in northern Nigeria and Africa will reduce by 75%, when peoples are busy into different types of business, i hope my application will be given more consideration.
