The Adobe Youth Voices Awards is a global, online competition that encourages youth to creatively express their vision for driving positive change in local communities. It’s an extension of Adobe Foundation’s philanthropic commitment and its global signature program, Adobe Youth Voices, which aims to ignite creative confidence in youth around the world by empowering them to find their voice and make it heard.

The Adobe Youth Voices Awards honors youth who make original, outstanding digital media to express their vision for positive change in their communities. We are looking for change-makers who create media to inspire, inform, and generate solutions to social challenges.

5 Categories of the 2015 AYV Awards

Animation: Animation is the art of making images, pictures, and objects come to life. Share your unique story through stop motion, computer-generated or hand-drawn animation, Flash, motion graphics, and/or a hybrid of formats.

Documentary: Documentary films aim to tell a story or share a perspective through the documentation of real-life events, past or present. Explore current or historical issues or people that matter to you.

Visual: Visual media projects include original photographs and graphic design. Submissions can be a single image or a series of images. Be creative and make a picture that’s worth a thousand words.

Narrative: A narrative video tells a fictional story, which may or may not be based on real-life events. Through creative storytelling, you can capture and reveal something that rings true. Tap your imagination to craft an original story.

Video: A youth social venture generates a solution to a challenge in the community. Make a video expressing your idea of how to solve a social problem. This video is your pitch, a chance to tell the short version of your idea and inspire people to action.
