The #IAmHer event is in commemoration of the 2018 International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, bringing together men and key stakeholders to converse, shape perspectives, and pledge to eliminate violence against women and girls.
International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is commemorated every November 25. It is also the first day of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence – an international campaign to challenge violence against women and girls, which ends on December 10, Human Rights Day.
ELIGIBILITY
- The event is strictly for men, being allies and key players in protecting and promoting the rights of women and girls. At the end of the event, and afterward, we will raise men as HERmbassadors.
