Global Changemakers is excited to announce the fully funded African Youth Summit 2023! In partnership with the ATKV, Global Changemakers will be hosting our second Africa Regional Summit in Cape Town, South Africa, from 17-20 October 2023.
Changemakers aged 21-28 years old from or living in Africa working to create a positive impact in their communities will be invited to attend a life-changing week of skills development, networking, and capacity building alongside 50 of Africa’s most impactful young leaders. After the summit, they will join an international network of over 1200 Changemakers from around the world and become eligible to apply for grant funding to scale and amplify their impact.
WORTH
- International flights from your country’s main airport, transport within South Africa, accommodation and meals will be covered for the duration of the event for the selected changemakers.
- Changemakers who require a visa to enter South Africa will need to arrange and pay for their visa at their own expense, we will provide the supporting invitation documents. They will also need to pay the cost to get to their country’s main airport. Also, we will ask all participants to provide proof of health and accident insurance (can be travel insurance) with coverage in South Africa for the duration of the Summit.
