The nomination process for the Commonwealth Youth Council for 2015-2017 Executive has been extended due to request from our partners, young people and member governments. Initial feedback and response to the nomination process has been extremely positive. The CYC is keen to receive more nominations to ensure broader representation of young leaders in the CYC executives from across the Commonwealth.
Nominees will be confirmed based on the documents submitted, eligibility and suitability of nominee for the position nominated for. Approved candidates will be accredited as Commonwealth Youth Forum (CYF) participants. The elections will take place on 24 November 2015 during the CYC’s General Assembly in Malta, as part of the CYF at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. The CYF is jointly organized by the CYC, the Youth Affairs Division of the Commonwealth Secretariat and the Government of Malta.
