YouthHubAfrica is one of Africa’s leading NGOs, providing platforms for young people to contribute to sustainable development and collaborate in creative and special ways. We currently seek Volunteers to be engaged as Peer Educators in FCT, Abuja.
Project Background
The Ripple Project is a one year program that aims at increasing knowledge amongst young people on the effects of Sexual Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), Harmful Practices (HP) and the importance of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) amongst Youths by engaging youths to educate their peers with essential information regarding SGBV, HP and SRHR. This engagement is for the FCT only.

- N5, 000 monthly stipends
- A Peer Educators’ bi-monthly networking experience at YouthHubAfrica
- Bi-monthly mass outreaches within the FCT
- Opportunities to participate in YouthHubAfrica and partner events
ELIGIBILITY
1. Candidates must be 18-35 years old.
2. Must be able to read and write.
3. Must be resident within FCT, Abuja.
4. Must demonstrate a willingness to learn and work independently.
5. Qualified women and persons with disability are strongly encouraged to apply.
6. Ability to communicate fluently in local languages.
7. knowledge of the local communities in FCT is an added advantage
