The UBE Essay Competition is a writing competition among secondary school students in the FCT to contribute to ongoing debates about improving the quality of and access to educational opportunities and provisioning of the right policies to ensure that millions of Nigerian children including girls have access to quality education thereby reducing the increasing number of out-of-school children in the country.
This competition will involve secondary school students in both the private and the public schools within the FCT. At the end of the competition, the best three essays will win amazing prizes while the top ten essays will be rewarded with consolation prizes. Topic: “Making the Nigerian Educational System Work for Children”
ELIGIBILITY
Word Count: Essay should not be more than 500 words
Category: Essay competition is open to students in SS1 to SS3 within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
