Women in Politics Forum (WIPF), Youth Hub Africa, Inclusive Friends Association (IFA) and Association of Women Business Network (ANWBA) in unity developed the GAIN document that promotes the common interests of marginalized groups. These four organizations representing women, youth, PWDs and business women constituencies resolved to work together to adopt and promote a joint agenda during the electioneering period. WIPF, YHA, IFA and ANWBN commissioned research and produced national priority agendas of women, youth and persons with disabilities.
Although they are not a homogenous group, the four groups have several commonalities in their experiences of inequality and discrimination, especially within legal and policy frameworks and their implementation. The agendas aim to improve the political and socio-economic well-being of these underserved and marginalized groups, especially their participation in Nigeria’s electoral process and representation in public office.
As a GAIN organizer, you will work to push for the adoption of the GAIN Agenda, which is the combination of the Youth, Women and PWD agenda for the respective political aspirants in your state.
