The aim of the 2015 YALI TechCamp, which was held in October, 2015 in Pretoria, South Africa with the theme: Digital Strategies for Grassroots .Organizing was to empower participants on the use of low-cost, easy-to-implement technological tools and concepts so that they can be effective in the work they do. The 2015 YALI TechCamp focused on three themes: Elections and Good Governance, Human Rights, and Climate Change.
This Experience Sharing Session aims at encouraging members of the YALI network to invest in grassroots organizing specifically in the area of democratic governance and political development in Africa through peer learning among members of the network.
WORTH
- The session provides a platform for participants of TechCamp and other programs to share lessons learnt from the respective programs.
- The session will aid in building a strong synergy on organizing programs that deepens democratic process.
ELIGIBILITY
- The experience sharing session is open to members of the YALI network that work on elections and democratic governance who are resident in Abuja, Nigeria.
