The Paul Hodges Trust award grants to projects that aspire to tackle poverty through women empowerment. They look for projects that not only empower women by giving them a voice and control over their lives, but also coordinates it with eradicating poverty. Paul Hodges Trust aims to build a brighter future, free from poverty.
Grants shall be awarded to:
- Eligible Organisations
- Specific Geographical Areas
Projects mostly that are to be completed within 12 months of the project’s start date are encouraged, since multi-year grants will generally not be made.
WORTH
- The winners shall be awarded with a grant of upto £15,000 each.
ELIGIBILITY
The projects have to be working with one or more of the following:
- Challenge and change negative attitudes and discriminatory practices that hold women and adolescent girls back
- Provide access to sexual and reproductive health and rights
- Support women and/or adolescent girls’ education
- Promote women’s economic empowerment
- Promote women’s political empowerment
- Tackle violence against women and girls
