The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications from U.S. and non-U.S. organizations for its Workforce Development Program with an aim to increase the number of active members of the Djiboutian workforce.
The project will contribute to the Government of Djibouti’s (GoDj) goal of reducing the high unemployment rate (estimated at over 60 percent) by better preparing the Djiboutian workforce to meet private sector needs.
WORTH
- Subject to funding availability, USAID intends to provide approximately $24.9 Million in total USAID funding over a five years (5) period.
- The period of performance anticipated herein is October 2016– September 2021. The estimated start date will be upon the signature of the award.
ELIGIBILITY
- All qualified U.S., non-U.S. organizations (other than those from foreign policy restricted countries) are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have established financial management, monitoring and evaluation processes, internal control systems, and policies and procedures that comply with established U.S. Government standards, laws, and regulations.
- The successful applicant(s) will be subject to a responsibility determination assessment (Pre-award Survey) by the Agreement Officer (AO).
- The Recipient must be a responsible entity.
