Journalists in Africa can participate in a radio contest.

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) has launched the second UNFCCC/CDM African Radio Contest under the theme “Changing Lives.”

Selected winners will be invited to visit CDM project sites in Africa where they will have an opportunity to learn more about the CDM and produce new radio stories and documentaries.

The program is organized to raise awareness about climate change issues and the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol.

This radio contest is open to all journalists in Africa. Submissions should be no more than five minutes in length, free of copyright material, in English, must comply with legal and copyright laws and consist only of original work.

The application deadline is August 6.
