This is a call to youth leaders around the world committed to building a better future through education to apply now to
take part in the UNESCO ESD Youth Conference in Japan!
The UNESCO ESD Youth Conference will be held in Okayama, Japan on 7 November 2014, bringing together 50 young leaders
between 18-35 years of age who are actively engaged in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
As a Youth Conference participant you will have an opportunity to exchange your ideas and experiences with peers. You will
be able to discuss innovative approaches to ESD and ways to promote young people’s contribution and further involvement in
the global ESD movement.
Participants will also be involved in developing recommendations for the UNESCO World Conference on ESD, which will take
place in Aichi-Nagoya,Japan from 10-12 November 2014. All Youth Conference participants will be invited to take part in the
World Conference.
The Youth Conference is being organized by UNESCO, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of
Japan (MEXT), the Japanese National Commission for UNESCO, the City of Okayama and The Goi Peace Foundation.
Successful applicants will receive travel sponsorship provided by the organizers.

I am studying in bachlors degree in Tri Chandra multiple campus under Tribhuvan University , kathmandu Nepal. I am a samyubaa (sampadako lagi yuwa ra balbaalika) volunteer. Samyubaa (in english, youth and children for heritage) is a youth wing of Building and Heritage Department of Kathmandu Metropolitian city which have conducts different programs for the conservation and preservation of heritages focusing the efforts of youth and childrens. I am one of the active member and have co-ordinated several programs organised by it.
we are a group of unemployed youth trying to find ways of making the world a better place to live in but have tried always and it seems not to work. we are even helping our fellow youth to come out of alcohol that is the only way of dealing with our emotional challenges but its not working out. how can the youth in the world help us from northern Uganda war affected area complete with other youth in the world.we would wish to be among other youth but only poverty is the limit. We welcome any support from you.
