Alfred Fried Photography Award is open for submissions of photographs.
€ 10,000 will be awarded to the winner of the Alfred Fried Photography Award. Alfred Fried Peace Medal will be awarded to the top five photographers. The winner of the Children Peace Image of the Year will receive the sum of € 1,000. The Special Award of the Jury for the best single picture entry will receive the sum of € 1,000.
The award ceremony will be held at the Austrian Parliament in Vienna on 20 September 2018, days ahead of the UN International Peace Day.
WORTH
- The winning picture will be on display for one year at the Austrian Parliament and will be included in the permanent art collection of the Austrian Parliament.
- All submitted images have the chance to take part in international exhibitions.
- All winners will be invited to Vienna to the award ceremony at the Austrian Parliament on 20 September 2018. And will take part in worldwide exhibitions.
ELIGIBILITY
- To enter the Children Peace Image of the Year, participants should be 14 years old or younger.
- Anybody can participate in this competition. No age limit.
