Job Title: IT Officer.
Location: Full-time staff position– Abuja.

General functions.
The IT Officer is responsible for providing leadership and direction for strategic communication and project branding.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical set-up and needed support on all IT-related issues, including installation and testing of workstations, printers, client software, upgrades, and configuration.
Implement and document network operations, processes and procedures.
Deploy and implement office network according to specifications.
Serve as the office Network Administrator.
Identify and solve possible problems in the network.
Supervise installations performed by third parties, such as cabling, Internet connection, etc.
Supervise and follow up on equipment maintenance performed by other contractors.
Implement and enforce security on the network and prevent misuse of the IT resources.
Keep the network healthy by applying all required security patches and monitoring the correct delivery of all antivirus updates.
Maintain all IT Equipment, Computer accessories and peripherals (Software) e.g. desktops, laptops, printers, etc. and ensure that they function at least 90% efficiency rate.
Ensure that the virus protection software is active on all machines & updated regularly.
Manage Google Workspace and maintain the File Permissions on the shared Google drive
Keep an up-to-date inventory of all IT equipment.
Identify competitive advantages and technological trends for the benefit of the organisation.
Maintain and update the organisation’s websites.
Functional Skill Set:
Information technology skills- LAN, WLAN and internet
Web Design
Cloud management
Able to conduct technological research and analysis
Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
Team playing skill
Qualifications;
HND or Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following areas: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management or Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
Knowledge of Networking design and implementation.
Knowledge of Clouds domains like Azure, Aws.
Knowledge of web design and development.
Professional qualification is not a most – ITIL, CCNA, MCSE, Azure Fundamental, AWS Practitioner & CompTIA security+
