The United Nations Economic COmmision for Africa is inviting applications from young African graduates for the position of Research fellow on regional integration and trade.

It is open only to nationals of United Nations Economic Commission for Africa member states that have graduated from an African university or are enrolled as PhD students. Any application much be attested by a letter of recommendation from the department or school head of the university the prospective candidate has graduated from or where he/she is currently enrolled in a PhD programme.
Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of USD 3,000. The fellowship includes a round-trip air ticket between the fellow’s country of residence and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  Fellows cannot be employed on ECA or United Nations regular positions within six months of
completion of a fellowship period.  Fellows will work on a predefined project, designed to contribute to specific aspects of the work
programme of the receiving Division of ECA, the Regional Integration and Trade Division and its African Trade Policy Center.
