The National HIV/AIDS response lead by NACA, with technical/financial support from UNICEF and in partnership with Population Council – has embarked on a ground-breaking initiative to encourage participation of adolescents and young people in the HIV response through a competition tagged ‘#AYPHIVChallenge2018”
The competition approach is for AYP to submit entries for the design of AYP led interventions through a challenge statement.
WORTH
- The best three entries shall be selected and used for the design of adolescent participation models. In addition, some seed funding shall be made available for initial implementation of the winning entries.
ELIGIBILITY
- Proposals must be developed and submitted by a youth-led/focused organization, group of young persons aged 15-27, supported by a mentor (e.g. teacher, board member, community leader, alumni)
- Participants under the age of 18 will require parental consent.
