The National Commission for Science and Technology (NCST) in collaboration with the African Union and Italy based World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) is pleased to announce the Call for Applications for the Young Scientist National Award, open to both male and female young researchers.
This program is designed to recognize the scientific achievements of young researchers and to encourage them to continue to strive for excellence in their scientific career.
WORTH
- Each winner will be awarded a cash prize of USD2000 and a Certificate.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for this award, applicant must:
- Be Malawian nationals
- Be male or female young researchers no older than 40 years of age on 31st December 2016;
- Holders of at least a Master’s degree;
- Have a good record of research publications in internationally recognized journals; and
- Have lived and worked in Malawi for the past three years (excluding study period, abroad).
