Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Intern
Location: Abuja.
General functions
This internship is designed to be both educational and practical as the intern will learn how to take skills he/she may have acquired in school related to his/her particular areas of interest, and apply them in a professional setting. The job holder will support the organisation’s M&E need ensuring the M&E-related information and data is reviewed for accuracy as well as help to interpret M&E data for learning and results.
Specific responsibilities
- To assist in developing M&E activity plans and inputs into the project M&E activity plan
- Participates in baseline, midterm and end of line monitoring and evaluation and supervises project, stakeholders or enumerators during data collection.
- Collect data and tracks all project outcomes.
- Develop and manage M&E framework for projects.
- Compiles, cleans and analyses qualitative and quantitative data.
- Conducts data filing and archiving as per project requirement
- Provides technical assistance to project staff, partners and stakeholders on M&E system
Qualifications
- Degree in M&E related field from any reputable school (a Master degree will be an added advantage)
- High level of computer literacy
- Ability to prioritize within a multi-tasking environment
- Prior experience in an NGO is an added advantage
- Have a passion for M&E
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Be confident
- Be detail-oriented
