Applications are open for the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy (TIMEP) Nonresident Fellowship Program 2022-2023. The TIMEP’s Nonresident Fellowship Program carves out a space for and invests in individuals whose work advances the transparent, accountable, and just societies that TIMEP is committed to fostering. The 2022-2023 cohort will be made up of seven to nine advocates, analysts, scholars, journalists, lawyers, and defenders based in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region or with significant ties to it.

WORTH

  • The fellow will receive a stipend commensurate with experience. While nonresident fellows are not employed or compensated in a full-time capacity, they are considered key TIMEP members and are well-integrated into the team.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Applicant should be at least five years of relevant work or academic experience in a field related to the proposed area of focus;
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic;
  • Demonstrated commitment to TIMEP’s mission and principles;
  • Connectivity to civil society, grassroots groups, and/or experts and advocates on-the-ground.
