Asian University for Women International Model United Nations (AUWIMUN) 2016 is the second season of the South Asia’s most culturally diverse all Women’s Secretariat Model United Nations Conference. With the culturally diverse university background with young and talented secretariat team, AUWIMUN heartily welcomes you all to the most productive MUN conference ever. Asian University for Women, the prime liberal arts institute of the region is the heart of Chittagong, Bangladesh. AUWIMUN is being organized to all students from different parts of the world to explore the taste of MUN with diversity.
The conference covers 4 days of exhilarating discourse starting from March 24- March 27th 2016 with, pragmatic negotiations, exciting socials and an unforgettable MUN experience. The national and international delegates will be provided with food facilities which include lunch and 2 nights dinner served during the time of the conference. For international delegates, facilities such as accommodation and transportation from the hotel to the conference venue will be provided and vice-versa.
The conference will have around 200 national and international delegates. The theme for AUWIMUN is “Thriving towards an Equitable and Inclusive Global Political Economy.” The delegates will be acquainted with five conference committees. Each delegate will be assigned accordingly to their level of experience.
Eligibility
- Both men and women around the globe are encouraged to apply, basically anyone who are interested in learning more about United Nations, mostly university students.
- School students also are eligible to apply, and for those who do not have previous MUN conference experience can apply for UNICEF committee which is a beginner’s committee.
