Are you looking at being trained and mentored to grow and develop great leadership skilled, enhance your understanding of youth development and build your non-profit management skills?
AfriAspire Fellowship Program is an Initiative built around year-long social innovation projects that are implemented by selected passionate youths in Nigeria and supported by funders and private partners.
Fellows implement projects that can solve new or existing problems in a Public Primary School in their various communities. They are provided training and mentoring to help them grow. In this way, fellows develop their leadership skills, enhance their understanding of youth development, and build their non-profit management skills.
WORTH
- Attend a one-week residential training on improving primary education and social innovation
- Fellows receive intensive support for external grant acquisition to fund their projects. In a step-by-step process, the fellows develop their own profile and visibility in their respective fields of interest.
- Stay connected through the alumni program after a year of completion
ELIGIBILITY
- Must reside in South West Nigerian States (Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ogun and Ekiti)
- Application from youths living outside these locations will not be accepted
- Be between ages 18- 30 years
- Have exceptional interpersonal skills and leadership skills
- Good command of English
- Sufficient experience and skill to manage a team of volunteers.
- Be willing to implement Projects that would improve a Primary School in your community.
