APPLY: 2014/2015 ANSTI-DAAD Scholarship for African Students

The Germany Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) invites applications for its 2014 scholarships for Master’s and PhD degrees in Germany.

The scholarships are awarded to staff of ANSTI member institutions for postgraduate studies (MSc. Or PhD) at African universities for staff development. The initial award of the fellowships covers one year. Extension is possible full to two years for Master’s Course or more for PhD studies upon successful completion of the previous year.

ELIGIBILITY

• Participants in the programme must be from ANSTU member institutions and may not exceed the age of 36 years by date of nomination. Applicants may not apply for studies in their home countries.
• Fellowships are awarded to sub-Saharan African nationals for studies outside the applicants’ home countries.
• Applicants must hold a good bachelor’s degree (at least 2^nd Class Upper Division).
• Applicants must obtain official admission to the host university prior to his/her app;licatin for the fellowship.
