UNESCO MGIEP is establishing the YouthWagingPeace Ambassadors Programme to commemorate its 10-year anniversary. The Program is intended for young people aged 18 to 35 who believe in peace and actively seek to attain it. They could be professionals or students wishing to give back to their communities by participating in a capacity-building activity or conducting youth empowerment projects through a social-emotional framework.
This Program seeks to empower young people and those who work with them to engage in self-reflection, dialogue, and pro-social behavior, as well as contribute to community resilience, with the goal of developing champions, facilitators, and organizers who can promote, implement, and adapt the course in their own communities and contexts.
