Youthhubafrica Opportunities

According to the United Nations, Africa is attributed to high rates of youth unemployment and underemployment with the youth making up 60 percent of the unemployed. Although It is estimated that about 10-12 million people on the continent join the labour force each year, Sub-Saharan Africa has the highest youth working poverty rates in the world, at about 70 per cent. This means that while unemployment may seem to be a problem, we have a bigger problem of youths who are employed yet live in poverty. This could be attributed to low earnings, lack of financial literacy, and poor employability skills.
This Webinar brought to you by ACE Charity and YouthhubAfrica seeks to empower the youth with core skills that will enable them to compete effectively in the labour market and manage their earnings to significantly reduce poverty rates, thereby increasing the Nation’s economic growth.
The conversation ‘Essential 21st Century Skills for Youth In Africa’, will be geared towards the following skills:
1. Personal Branding
2. Financial Literacy
3. Critical Thinking
4. The power of online learning
