Applications are open for the Trinity Long Room Hub to advance and promote on an international level the excellence of the Arts and Humanities research environment in Ireland. Between October 2017 and September 2020, the programme will appoint 9 fellows for a period of twelve months each over the course of 3 calls (1 Call per year).

WORTH

Fellows recruited will:

  • Be provided with a 12 month fully paid fellowship based in the Trinity Long Room Hub, Trinity College Dublin.
  • Strengthen research skills via he appointment of an academic mentor based in one of Trinity arts and Humanity Schools.
  • Benefit from structured career development planning;
  • Undertake transferable skills training
  • Have the opportunity to undertake a secondment in the non-academic sector in Ireland or another EU member state during their fellowship for up to 2 months.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Open to experienced researchers who at the date of recruitment under this fellowship programme (October 1 2019) are in the possession of a doctoral degree or at least 4 years of full-time equivalent research experience
  • Applicants of any any Nationality are welcome.
  • Applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (Work, Studies, etc.) in the republic of Ireland for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the date of recruitment under this call of fellowship programme (October 1 2019)
  • Applicants must have fluent spoken and written English
