The Next Generation Female CEO 2 aims to equip female student entrepreneurs with skills for business leadership. In her over 6 years of working to solve youth unemployment, SESEWA has discovered that youth entrepreneurship is a viable instrument in achieving this. However, many youth-owned businesses face challenges common to many Micro and Small businesses such as insufficient information, limited network, limited funding, etc. For females, the challenges are tougher as they tend to be found mostly in the informal sector. This partly explains the gender gap in business leadership, especially in Nigeria and Africa.
