YouthHubAfrica invites entries from interested and qualified young graduates into the Christain Aid Youth Internship Program.
Due to the high rate of unemployed and underemployed young people in Nigeria, Christain Aid Nigeria developed a Youth Engagement Strategy through a three-pronged approach aimed at maximizing the potential of youths and developing them through opportunities in leadership, innovative partnerships, as well as enhancing their contribution to the community and National Development, as change-makers.
The Youth Internship Program is an integral component of the Christian Aid Youth Engagement Strategy to provide opportunities for qualified young people to work on any of Christian Aid’s projects and activities across Nigeria.
WORTH
- Selected interns will be provided with a monthly allowance enough to cover feeding, transportation and other costs.
- Health Insurance will be provided for Interns during the period of internship.
- Interns stand a chance of getting a job offer from Christian Aid and her Partners
Duration of Internship: 12 Months
Location: Kaduna and Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
ELIGIBILITY
- The candidate must be a young graduate between the age of 18-35 years
- Must be available to work full time for a period of 12 months
- Must have a strong passion for Social Development work
- Must be resident in states where CAID projects or CAID partners exist.
Applicants must indicate interest to work in any of the following areas
- Health and Human Development (health & education)
- Democracy and Good Governance (tax justice, elections)
- Gender Equality, and Social Inclusion (GESI).
