AWIEF is excited to announce its new collaboration with USAID Southern Africa Trade and Investment Hub (USAID TradeHub).
In nine Southern African countries: Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, and Zambia, USAID’s Enhanced Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Investment and Export Readiness Through a Digital Platform program aims to increase SME investor readiness, export readiness, and competitiveness for 100 SMEs.
ELIGIBILITY
- Applicants should be an SME registered and operating in one of these Southern African countries: Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, and Zambia.
- Applicants should be either already exporting or interested in exporting their products to South Africa and/or to the United States leveraging AGOA.
- Applicants seeking to raise capital for business expansion and international trade.
- Priority industry sectors include: Agriculture, Agro-processing, Textiles and Apparel.
